Luxe models is getting lot of
bad press lately due to the whole scam getting exposed online. We decided to do some digging into the company website to see if we can find anything.
1. First we went into the company services page and found there are 3 different service packages offered by them;
Free track, Organic track & Fast track along with Trademark (TM) signs. So we checked with UK IPO site to see if any of these services are actually trade marked. We couldn't find any results so it means those are fake. (You can try:
http://www.ipo.gov.uk/tm/t-find/t-find-text/) We also think the TM is added to these titles to give it a legitimacy. The bottom line is they will sell you a very expensive portfolio you DON'T NEED. Remember NO AGENCY needs a PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIO.
2. We went into Testimonials page to see if any of the testimonials are actually true. We pulled one of the images from the page and uploaded to Google and bang we had a match. The pictures were purchased from a stock website.
Here is a screenshot of the original testimonial;

Here is the link to the original image source;

So given the image is fake we can pretty much conclude the testimonial is fake as well (?) We also think its the same case with other testimonials/photos.
3. We looked at their Google adverts and they all suggest that they are looking for models - Luxe Models is a model advisory and an experience day service and do not take models on so they cannot be scouting for models as their ad below on Google claims.
So the bottom line is luxemodels is setup to prey on innocent models into spending thousands of pounds for a useless portfolio.
